Christ the King RC Primary School, with 389 pupils on roll including Nursery, is seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Organisers to supervise and support children during the lunchtime period.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising children’s dining and play activities across all age groups, primarily outdoors, encouraging positive and safe play.
  • Promoting and supporting positive relationships between children and adults.
  • Managing minor incidents, including accidents and behaviour issues, in line with school policies.
  • Encouraging healthy eating and supporting children’s wellbeing through positive communication.
  • Working effectively as part of a busy team in a dynamic school environment.
  • Supporting children’s physical activity at lunchtime by encouraging participation in games and play.
  • Participating in relevant training, including whole-school policy updates, which may occasionally occur outside contracted hours.
