To ensure the welfare of children in the care of the BASC, ensuring that their needs are met including the provision of refreshments etc. All duties to be carried out in the working conditions normally inherent in the job. Duties will be carried out for jobs up to and including those in the same grade, provided such duties are within the competence of the employee. 22.5 hours per week, Monday Friday 7.30 9.00 & 15.00 18.00 (term time only) hours negotiable
Responsible to: School Business Manager and BASC Manager
2. To contribute to the delivery of creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment.
3. To undertake educational activities in accordance with the school’s curriculum offer.
4. To follow the school’s safeguarding policy.
5. To administer first aid and medication as required.
6. To develop and maintain good working relationships with parents and carers.
7. To maintain accurate records regarding the administration of medication, accidents and incidents, drop off /collection arrangements and messages.
8. To participate in relevant training, staff meetings and development activities.
9. To maintain a well-kept clean and hygienic environment.
10. To maintain confidentiality at all times.
11. To carry out all responsibilities and activities in accordance with an equal opportunities framework.
12. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as directed, commensurate with the level of the role.
