MEAP is a citywide service and we carry out comprehensive and holistic assessments for both children and adults within their own homes. You will assess for complex equipment and adaptations and complete Moving and Handling risk assessments/training for family and paid carers

We are looking for a driven, dynamic and passionate Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who wants to make a real difference to the quality of life of Manchester’s residents, to join MEAP.

You must be organised and have excellent oral communication and written skills and be able to

complete comprehensive reports in a timely and efficient manner.

We are looking for a critical and innovative thinker who can gather and analyse information, manage

risk and maximize citizens' quality of life.

You should have some knowledge and/or experience of functional assessment, moving and handling,

equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology and have an understanding of relevant social care

and disability legislation.

You will maintain the standards set out by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal

College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT)

You may already be working as an Occupational Therapist, or you may be newly qualified and want to

try something new with the local authority.

We offer Monday – Friday working, with no working on bank holidays or weekends, and a 35 hour working week, supporting a positive work/life balance.
