Rowan Tree Primary requires Teachers for pupils with severe and complex needs.

• 2 posts are planned to start on the 01-09-2026

The governors are seeking to appoint excellent, enthusiastic and committed

class teachers to join our highly successful school and motivated staff team.

Rowan Tree is a specialist primary school for pupils with severe and complex needs (4 11 years.) The school was graded outstanding by OFSTED in March 2024 and was recognised as an accredited provider for pupils with Autism by the National Autistic Society during the spring term 2021. The whole school team are committed to continually building on these successes.

We are looking for:

• Excellent primary trained teachers with experience of working with individuals with severe and complex needs.
• Energetic practitioners with knowledge skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils with severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions.
• Teachers skilled in the use of technology and digital media to enable pupils to demonstrate their learning.
• Highly motivated, innovative people with enthusiasm and commitment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• An interest in play and outdoor learning.
• A positive and solution focused attitude.
