Moorhouse Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team. This post will initially be teaching a KS2 class, however, there may be a requirement to teach KS1. We are an 'Ofsted Good' school and a proud member of the Watergrove Trust.

About this role

We are looking for an exceptional teacher who will:

  • Plan and deliver an engaging and challenging curriculum to a KS2 class, ensuring high-quality learning experiences aligned with our school ethos.
  • Foster a classroom environment where children feel valued, happy, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
  • Be a strong team player, making a positive contribution to the wider life and community of the school.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to securing successful outcomes for all pupils.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has relevant experience in teaching Key Stage 2. This role would also be suitable for an ECT teacher.
  • Is passionate, creative, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Can uphold our core values and contribute to our warm, inclusive school culture.
  • Is driven to be the 'best teacher' they can be and welcomes opportunities for professional growth.
