Midday Supervisor

Mills Hill Primary School is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our warm, hardworking and supportive team. We’re proud of our school community, and we’re seeking someone who is friendly, creative and committed to helping our children feel safe, happy and well supported during the lunchtime period.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils in the dining areas, helping them enjoy a calm and positive lunchtime
• Supervising queues and ensuring pupils move safely and sensibly around school
• Helping to keep the dining area clean and tidy
• Being a responsible and caring adult, with the wellbeing of children at the heart of everything you do
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good relationships between pupils

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience of working with children
• An understanding of the needs and behaviour of primary-aged pupils
• Kindness, patience and strong communication skills
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing

This is a fixed-term position, working 8.33 hours per week (1 hour 40 minutes per day), MondayFriday, term time only.
