We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and committed individual to contribute to raising achievement in Modern Foreign Languages (French preferred). This post would suit either a recently qualified teacher seeking their first appointment, or an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity within an established and supportive MFL department.

We are looking for:

• an enthusiastic and committed colleague to join our MFL team;
• an outstanding teacher with a passion for learning;
• an excellent communicator who can inspire and bring out the potential of all young people.

Crompton House School is a highly successful, oversubscribed 1118 Church of England school situated on the edge of the Pennines, in Oldham, northeast of Manchester. It is a “good” school where pupils uphold the school’s core values of caring for each other and achieving excellence in all that they do.

Progress and achievement are strong, with 75% of pupils achieving Grade 4 or above in English and Maths in 2024.
