Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term time only plus 5 Inset days
Qualifications Required: Minimum of Level 3 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
Start Date: April 2026 or as soon as possible
Salary: £24,294 - £25,979 per annum pro rata


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant committed and passionate about primary school provision and is able to provide high quality support.  

Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with six other primary schools (all based in the North-West).

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
 
  • has recent successful experience in a primary school in KS1
  • possesses excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • can deliver high quality teaching and learning in Year 1
  • has high expectations of pupils’ achievement
  • has a patient and nurturing approach to supporting children.
  • has vision, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour
  • possesses good communication skills
  • is a team player with a positive outlook
  • has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
