Graduate Trainee Teacher Train to Teach with Leverhulme Academy Trust Our Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship programme offers graduates the opportunity to train as a Maths, Computing, Physics or Chemistry teacher through a fully funded, school-based route. You will spend one academic year working in one of our schools while completing your teacher training, combining practical classroom experience with academic study. We will pay you a salary of £22,600 while you train, and your £9,000 training costs will be fully funded through our apprenticeship levy, meaning there are no tuition fees. On completion of the programme, you will achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and, if you choose to continue your career with us, move onto the qualified teacher pay scale as part of our Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme.
