We are seeking an inspiring and compassionate Service Manager to lead our Supporting Our Children service. This is a pivotal role in delivering our strategic vision: supporting children to remain safely within their families wherever possible, ensuring those who need to come in to our care are provided with a stable loving home as similar to a family setting as possible, and enabling every child to access and engage in education.

As Service Manager, you will:

  • Provide strong operational and strategic leadership, promoting high-quality, relational practice across the service.
  • Ensure children and families are at the heart of everything we do, with their voices, experiences, and insights shaping the design and delivery of our support.
  • Lead a committed workforce, fostering a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee services that help children return to their family where possible, and ensure children who cannot remain at home are supported to live in nurturing, family-based settings.
  • Champion education as a key pillar of positive outcomes, ensuring robust support for children to access, attend, and succeed in learning.
  • Work collaboratively with partners across social care, education, health, and community organisations to deliver joined-up, effective support.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Significant leadership experience within children’s services or family support.
  • A strong commitment to co-production and involving children and families in shaping practice and service development.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
  • A deep passion for improving the life chances, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people.

If you’re a motivated leader who wants to shape a service that listens to, values, and stands alongside children and families, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and play a key role in delivering our vision for Supporting Our Children.
