To support our exciting Connect to Work programme, we are recruiting a Senior Employment Specialist to join our friendly team.

This post will be covering Blackpool with travel involved. 
You will manage a team of Employment Specialists and work face-to-face with clients (managing a 50% caseload) who have long term health conditions and/or barriers to employment, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. 

You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, for which training will be given; providing person centred advice and guidance, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work with colleagues in clinical/local agency teams, developing positive and integrated relationships, providing a holistic approach to recovery through employment.
We are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 in IAG or equivalent or has a minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience providing employability support, advice and guidance. You will also need to have experience of staff supervision and line management. 

Having access to a vehicle to attend appointments and supervise staff is essential for the post.
