Teaching Assistant - Level 3 SEND

We’re looking for a caring, motivated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support a pupil with SEND and help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to a pupil with SEND, ensuring safety and access to learning.
• Build positive, supportive relationships using a connection before correction approach.
• Promote independence, confidence and positive interactions.
• Assist teachers with adaptive teaching, preparing resources, and monitoring pupil progress.
• Deliver structured learning activities and interventions, adapting to individual needs.
• Support behaviour expectations and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom.
• Use ICT to support learning and help pupils develop digital skills.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and school policies at all times.
• Participate in training, meetings and occasional cover supervision.
• Accompany pupils on school visits when required.

About You

• Experience working with children with SEND (desirable).
• Kind, patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive practice.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
