We currently have an exciting opportunity for Lead Teacher of Maths to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) This is a permanent, full-time position on Teaching terms MPS–UPS plus TLR 2.1 allowance of £3,527, starting September 2026. Main purpose of the role: In addition to the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, the Lead Teacher of Maths will play a key role in raising standards of teaching, learning and student achievement across the Mathematics curriculum. Working closely with the Curriculum Leader, you will: You will also deputise for the Curriculum Leader where required and take responsibility for agreed areas of departmental leadership. Qualifications Required:
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
You will be a qualified teacher (QTS) with successful experience teaching within the 11–16 phase and a strong track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons.
You will have excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics and a clear understanding of current curriculum developments.
