We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative class teacher who will make a significant contribution to the progress of our School. This will involve contributing to an extremely broad and exciting curriculum for our pupils, both during school and as extra-curricular provision. This is a full time fixed-term position from 1st September 2026 for 12 months (with potential for permanency).

A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) will be awarded to the suitable candidate to recognise the additional contribution you will make when leading your phase, driving up standards and inclusion and being an active member of the SLT.

The class teacher should:

  • Be reflective, self-motivated and committed to the school.
  • Be thoroughly professional and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and build strong links with staff, pupils, parents, governors and the community.
  • Demonstrate a real passion for teaching and learning and only accept the highest standards.
  • Have a positive attitude and the highest expectations of pupils' attainment and behaviour.
  • Have excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Have the ability to motivate and inspire staff, students and parents.
  • Have a track record as a team player and make a positive contribution to wider school activities.
  • Be resilient and reflective with a commitment to being the best possible teacher.
  • Be enthusiastic and able to create an environment that is engages, inspires and allows children to make the most progress.
  • Have current knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and provision for pupils with additional needs.
