We are looking for a confident and experienced individual who is dedicated to supporting pupils and improving their educational experience. The successful candidate will work with a team of committed professionals here at Kingsland School. Purpose of the Post: The key role is to promote and deliver the transition process for pupils across the borough of Oldham ensuring high standards of good practice are modelled whilst supporting the staff working with the pupils who are risk of exclusion. The role involves working across different schools, building excellent relationships with staff, pupils, parents and other professionals. The key responsibilities are to hold a case load and be actively involved in the evaluation of information and assessment for each pupil. In order to achieve success a positive link between primary, secondary schools, pupils and their families is essential. Experience in preparing and delivering resources and knowledge of support plans is essential to this role. This is to ensure that each school receives the highest quality advice support needed to implement appropriate interventions and plans allowing for a smooth transition process for the young person.
