Contract: Permanent

Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 (full time full year equivalent)

Actual Salary: £19,809.42 - £21,489.18 (Grade 4)

Required from: 1st June 2026

Working Hours: 5 days 30 hours per week Monday - Friday (7:30am 1:30pm), term time plus 3 days

Based: Friezland Primary School, Church Rd, Greenfield, Saddleworth, OL3 7LQ

As Cook Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the Catering Assistant and for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for our students - serving approximately 70 covers per day - whilst maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has proven experience in a quality catering environment
• Has a passion for serving high quality, freshly-cooked meals which will maximise uptake of school dinners
• Has excellent communication skills and enjoys the challenges of working in a school environment
• Has excellent organisational skills
• Can ensure value for money whilst delivering the highest quality food, meeting School Food Standards
• Is committed to maintaining the highest of health, safety and hygiene standards
