Following the retirement of our long-serving caretaker, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated, reliable, and proactive Site Manager to join our friendly primary school community.

This is a key role within the school, ensuring that our site is safe, secure, clean, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards across the school environment and play an important part in supporting the day-to-day running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the school site, including responsibility for security and alarm systems
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the building and grounds
  • Overseeing cleaning standards and liaising with cleaning staff where appropriate
  • Monitoring health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and site checks
  • Managing contractors on site and supporting external maintenance work
  • Ensuring the school grounds are safe, tidy, and well-maintained throughout the year
