We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher (SEN) - Maternity Cover to join our fantastic team at Pioneer House High School This is a fixed-term, full-time role covering maternity leave from September 2026 for one academic year or until post holder returns. This role is working on teaching terms and offering MPS–UPS plus SEN allowance. We’re looking for: As a Teacher, you will be expected to meet the characteristics described in the Professional Standards for Teachers and fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers. You will play a key role in supporting the educational progress of students, improving standards of learning, and raising levels of student achievement across the school. Our curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need for life beyond school. In Key Stage 3, students develop essential skills across a broad curriculum, while in Key Stages 4 and 5 students access work experience placements and, where appropriate, work towards accredited vocational qualifications.
