Location: Worsley Leisure Centre

Vacancy One - 8.5 Hours per week

Vacancy Two - 17.5 Hours per week

Vacancy Three - 17 Hours per week (Fixed term until 28 November 2026)

Note: As part of the interview process, all applicants will be assessed on the following, if you do not hold a NPLQ qualification.

• Jump/dive into deep water.
• Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
• Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
• In deep Water, tread water for 30 seconds.
• Surface dive to the floor of the pool
• Climb out unaided without ladders/steps and where pool design permits.
  
  

Note: Successful candidates who do not hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) must be available to attend an NPLQ course / assessment on the following 6 consecutive dates:

Tuesday 26th May - Sunday 31st May 2026 - 8:30-17:30pm, Broughton Leisure Centre

The content of the course will be a mixture of skills and theoretical knowledge in both a classroom and pool side setting.
