The Governors of Moston Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, caring and committed Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team.
The main purpose of the role will be to lead, run & supervise break and lunchtime activities for the whole school. Lead and support extra-curricular sports activities, club and competitions, including inter-school competitions.
The successful candidate will also provide full class cover for staff development and PPA cover
Candidates will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills. An assessment of these will form part of the recruitment process.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to plan and deliver a 30-minute games activity to a group of children. There will also be a written task and a formal interview.

- Highly motivated and energetic with a passion for teaching who will ensure the best possible outcomes for the people they work with and can work on their own initiative
- Has proven experience of raising attainment and dedicated to school improvement and the success of Moston Lane Primary School
- Has GCSE's in Literacy and Maths
- Has a relevant qualification relating to physical education coaching for children
- Holds an appropriate coaching certificate in sport, dance or physical education
- Can plan assess and teach groups of children and full classes.
- Has excellent behaviour management skills
- Has excellent communication skills
- Can liaise effectively with staff
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including up to 6pm when necessary
