TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 3 SEN - Required from September 2026
Band 5 Pt 19 Pt 22 £32,061- £33,699 pro rata (see contract options below)
Term-time only + inset days (39 weeks)

Full time permanent contract 36.25 hours per week. Actual salary £27,576-£28,985
Full time permanent contract 35 hours per week. Actual salary
£26,624 -£27,985
Full time fixed term contract for 1 year to cover maternity leave from September 2026, 35 hours per week. Actual salary £26,624-£27,985
Part time 3 days, permanent contract - 21.5 hours per week. Actual salary: £16,355- £17,190

We are an Outstanding Special School seeking to appoint TA3’s to join our thriving school community. The purpose of the role is to support the work of the teachers by taking a lead role in the classroom, including cover for the teacher when required. The role would also include responsibility for the development of a specialist area, & supporting the professional development of less experienced TAs within school.

Applicants should:
Hold a TA3 or equivalent qualification (or be working towards this)
Have experience of working with children with SEND.
