Higher Level Teaching Assistant Level 4

Salary: Grade F. SCP £24,458 - SCP 22 £26,569 (Actual salary, TTO)

Hours Per Week: 32.5 hours, Monday Friday term time only plus 4 INSET Days

Base Location: Broadbent Fold Primary School and Nursery, Tennyson Avenue, Dukinfield, SK16 5DP

Assessment Date: Interviews 21st May 2026

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly skilled Level 4 Teaching Assistant.

The successful applicant needs to be an effective team member, have lots of energy, enthusiasm and be flexible within their working day. Working primarily in Key Stage 2 plus cover in KS1 and EYFS.

We require a practitioner who:

• Believes that all children deserve the best and sets high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
• Is able to carry out the requirements of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Understands the needs faced by children of different backgrounds and abilities
• Sees the value of team and partnership working
• Assists with the development and implementation of CCPs
• Provides support through a variety of interventions in Key Stage 2
• PPA cover
• Provides objective and accurate feedback and reports as required, to the teacher on pupil achievement, progress and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence
• Is able to work under own initiative
