We have an exciting new Team Manager position for our specialist social care Autism Team and are looking for a motivated and strong leader to join us in our team, based at Bickerstaffe House in Blackpool. 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the lives of autistic adults across Blackpool. You will lead a committed and passionate team who are dedicated to delivering high quality and strengths based support. 

As our Autism Team Manager, you will:

  • Provide day to day leadership, guidance, and professional oversight to a skilled team of social workers, case assessors and support workers.
  • Champion good practice and ensure our work reflects the needs, aspirations, and voices of autistic adults and their families, working in a stengths based way. 
  • Support staff through reflective supervision, coaching, and a strong focus on wellbeing.
  • Drive quality and performance, ensuring we meet our statutory responsibilities and deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Work closely with partners across health, social care, and the voluntary sector to build a joined up, strengths-based offer for the people of Blackpool.
