SalaryNJC Grade D - Points 7-11 £13.69 - £14.59

Working hours can be flexible, with final arrangements to be agreed at interview with the successful candidate. 

We are looking to appoint a School Office Administrator to join our dedicated team at this inclusive all-age school for pupils with complex needs, including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and multi-sensory impairments.

This role is for one day per week and offers the opportunity to play a key part in the smooth and efficient running of the school office. You will work as part of a small, committed administrative team, providing high-quality support across a range of office functions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy, contributing to effective record keeping, communication, and general administrative processes. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the office to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, while also supporting wider school operations where needed.

A strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and statutory school requirements is essential, along with the ability to apply these consistently in line with school policies and procedures.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemption) Act 1975 and if you are successful, you will be required to apply to the Criminal Records Bureau for a ‘disclosure’.  It is also subject to satisfactory medical clearance and references.
