Class Teacher

The Headteacher and the Governors of St John with St Mark CE Primary School are seeking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate class teacher for our Nursery. This is a permanent position for a skilled EYFS practitioner who will be able to demonstrate, from current teaching practice, their ability to enthuse and motivate their pupils regardless of their starting point and be committed to raising standards for all. The candidate should have a proven track record of outstanding high-quality teaching and possess strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. This job is not suitable for an ECT.

The successful candidate will need to possess skills in overcoming barriers to learning and in enabling children to make progress through meeting challenging targets. The ability to lead an area of school life that contributes towards a broad and balanced curriculum, would be highly desirable.
