Teacher - Maternity Cover

Year 1 Class Teacher

Required from September 2026 to cover a maternity leave.

The Governors of Monton Green Primary School wish to appoint an excellent classroom teacher to join our successful and popular school. This post is to cover a maternity leave.

The successful applicant will;

• have experience teaching in KS1
• have excellent teaching and classroom management skills
• have a good understanding of the National Curriculum expectations and of the learning needs of children.
• have high expectations and the ability to ensure good learning and progress for all children
• have a strong commitment to team work.
• promote and model the school values of responsibility, community and ambition
• be reflective, hardworking and enthusiastic, and have a passion for high quality teaching and learning
