Ict Support Assistant

Contract: Temporary (31^st October 2027)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Scale 3 SCP5-6 £25,583 - £25,989 per annum

Closing Date: 30th April 2026

We're hiring someone who's good with people and good with tech. Not necessarily in that order.

Your background doesn't need to be IT.

Customer service, project coordination, design, admin; if you're sharp, pick things up fast, and actually like helping people, keep reading.

 What the job is

First point of contact when colleagues have IT problems. Helpdesk, systems administration, ICT inductions, and helping improve how the team operates. Hands-on and varied, but that's just the starting point.

The bigger picture

This isn't a quiet backroom IT role. Our team is genuinely into innovation; AI, digital transformation, enterprise-grade technology and we're in the middle of big organisational change. You'll get exposure to tools and projects that would sit comfortably in any large private sector organisation.

You're comfortable with Windows and everyday software
