Ravensbury Community School is seeking to appoint a forward-thinking Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and play a central role in shaping the future of our school.

This is a rewarding position for a skilled practitioner who combines strong pedagogical knowledge with a commitment to nurturing young learners and fostering a love of learning.

The successful candidate will work closely with the headteacher and wider staff team to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, support pupil progress and development, and contribute to the life of the school community.

We are open to applications from both ECT’s and experienced teachers. 

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

  •  Deliver high-quality teaching and learning that inspires and engages pupils in Key Stage 1.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils make strong progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and school improvement priorities.
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and provide targeted support for all learners.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and whole-school initiatives.
