Salary: Main Scale (ECTS welcome) £32,916-£45,352
Hours: 32.5 Hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday -Thursday (Flexible)
Contract type: Temporary Maternity Cover 1st September 2026 to February 2027

The Governors of Lum Head Primary School are seeking to appoint a KS2 teacher to cover a maternity leave for during the academic year 2026/27.
The successful candidate will:

Model and deliver the vision, aims and values of Lum Head Primary School

Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of our children
Have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour
Provide excellent classroom practice
Show commitment to and an understanding of raising achievement in all children

A desire to nurture every child’s skills and talent is essential
Promote positive relationships with children, parents and other stakeholders;
