Castle Hill High School Telephone: 0161 285 3925 Job Title: Deputy Headteacher As deputy Head teacher you will be expected to input into the strategic planning of the school, contributing to quality assurance and whole school improvement. The successful individual will be a highly effective communicator who is kind, child-centred, and personable. You will possess the interpersonal skills necessary to build strong, trusting relationships with staff, parents, and pupils alike, ensuring that our vision for accessibility and excellence is shared and understood by all. Castle Hill High School is a special school for students, aged 11 18, with significant and complex needs. We currently have 351 students on roll. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, in May 2017, judged the school to be Outstanding. All students enjoy equality of opportunity, regardless of gender, race, ability, social background etc. Our aim is to provide an education which is relevant and worthwhile, preparing our students for the world of work and ensuring that they leave us as caring young adults who have developed positive attitudes and values and are respectful of others.
