Salary: Leadership Scale L7L11 (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time / Permanent Location: Corrie Primary School Reporting to: Headteacher Responsible to: Governing Board / Ambition Community Trust Closing Date: 17th May 2026 Shortlisting: 18th May 2026 Interviews: 21st and 22nd May 2026 Job Purpose The Deputy Headteacher plays a key strategic role in supporting the Headteacher in the leadership and management of the school. Currently, with no class teaching commitment, the postholder will focus on whole-school leadership priorities including safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, behaviour, inclusion, attendance, and staff development. The Governors of Corrie Primary & Nursery School are looking to appoint an experienced, positive, lively, committed and hard working Deputy Headteacher. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver a high quality educational experience. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
