Following the successful promotion of our Deputy Headteacher to Headteacher, St Paul’s Peel CE Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner and dynamic, committed and inspirational leader to join us in building a new Senior Leadership Team and shaping the next chapter of our school’s story. This role offers the chance to make a genuine, lasting difference within a caring, ambitious and faith-centred community where every child is encouraged to flourish without limits or boundaries.

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely alongside the Headteacher, playing a key role in shaping the vision, direction and future development of the school. You will provide inspirational leadership, model high standards of teaching and learning, and help sustain a culture where staff, pupils and families feel valued and supported. This is an opportunity to influence whole-school improvement, develop others and help lead our community with integrity, compassion and ambition.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a track record of excellent classroom practice and school improvement.
  • A commitment to maintaining and developing the distinctive nature of this Church of England school
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and develop teams by providing a strong role model, recognising that successful outcomes arise from collaborative leadership that supports and empowers staff.
