Salford Community Leisure's Active Communities team delivers exciting, innovative, and highly regarded activities across the City of Salford to children and young people aged 4-16 years and we are looking to recruit a number of casual employees to assist in the delivery of our highly engaging and rewarding activity, holiday and party programmes during the summer of 2026.

There are major ongoing health challenges and inequalities within the city and an ambitious set of strategies have been developed to tackle them. Physical exercise, creativity, learning and community development have been identified to change peoples lives for the better.

We are looking for candidates who:

Have an interest or experience in sport, arts, cultural or youthfocused activities
Can support the delivery of highquality activity sessions for children aged 416
Communicate clearly and confidently with children, families and colleagues
Can work reliably as part of a team, following session plans and instructions
Are organised and able to assist with session setup, delivery and monitoring
Demonstrate behaviours and values aligned with Salford Community Leisure
