Split shifts: 6:30am 10:30am and 3pm 6:30pm, Friday until 6pm.
Permanent, Term Time plus 10 days
Start Date: 8th June 2026

Your Role

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dedicated and effective Caretaker who will be responsible to the head teacher for the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. Please note that the school is currently going through a consultation period for the proposal to amalgamate with the Infant school from September 2026.

About You

We want someone who is able to:

  • Clean a designated area to a high standard
  • Ensure the premises are kept secure and safe. Including locking and unlocking the building, ensuring the alarm is activated.
  • To undertake handyperson duties as appropriate. Have good DIY skills and a willingness to undertake routine maintenance.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and conduct weekly safety checks.
  • Have key holder responsibilities including attending call outs.
