We are looking for a reliable, highly organised and hardworking Admin Assistant (Finance) to join our friendly and committed team at Crab Lane Primary School.  
 
This is a key role supporting the smooth administration operation of the school with elements of financial operations. 
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong admin skills who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and confidentiality.
 
 

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, is confident using microsoft word, excel and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
 
The role will include:
 
  • Manage the day- to-day tasks in the a busy school office - answering telephone, welcoming visiting parents and visitors, using ICT technology
  • Raising orders on FMS and using other school based systems
  • Administer income - trips, clubs, breakfast club etc.
  • Managing spreadsheets
  • Writing letters
  • Adhering to the school's safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Full training will be provided. 

Crab Lane Primary School is part of the North Manchester Primary Federation, alongside Crumpsall Lane Primary School.
 
Nestled in the heart of Blackley Village, Crab Lane is a thriving two-form entry community primary school located just four miles from Manchester city centre and close to Heaton Park.
 
We have our own established in house catering service and our mission is to support all of our pupils by providing excellent quality meals. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our catering team. 
 
We have over 400 pupils aged 3-11 from a diverse community. 
 
Our school boasts excellent transport links with nearby road access, Bowker Vale tram station and regular buses which stop on Chapel Lane.
