Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 per week Salary: NJC Grade H1/H2 SCP 27-35 £38,220 - £46,142 per annum Closing Date: Wednesday 20th May 2026 at 23:59 Children’s Services | Blackpool Council About the Role Blackpool Council is seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Social Worker to join our Request for Support Hub (formerly known as the MASH), the front door to Children’s Social Care. This is a fast-paced, multi-agency environment where timely and well-evidenced safeguarding decisions ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. As a Social Worker in the RFSH, you will use your professional judgement, analytical skills and understanding of thresholds to assess information, identify risk, and determine the most appropriate intervention. You will work closely with partner agencies to promote effective information sharing and ensure decisions are proportionate and in line with statutory guidance.
