CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER SOULBURY 19 32 (£68,860 - £85,298) 37 HOURS PER WEEK (1.0 FTE) PERMANENT CONTRACT ALL YEAR ROUND START DATE: IN LINE WITH NOTICE PERIOD We are seeking a forward-thinking, dynamic individual to join our Executive Team as Chief People officer, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of our Trust as we continue to grow. We have recently welcomed three new schools into our family and anticipate adding a further three schools over the course of our next strategic cycle. This growth will see the postholder taking responsibility for the leadership and development of approximately 1,000 colleagues across the organisation. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, operationally complex environment. You will need to be highly efficient, comfortable navigating and aligning multiple systems, and adaptable to the evolving demands of busy, varied workplaces. WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO: Is self-motivated and personally resilient Has high levels of personal integrity, discretion, honesty, reliability and self-awareness Has a conscientious and diligent work ethic Has high standards of personal presentation with an excellent attendance and time-keeping record Has exacting standards, with high level attention to detail with long-term planning Is a strong communicator and collaborator with a coaching leadership style Is highly organised, resilient, and focused on delivering high standards Will travel between Trust schools as and when required YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE: Work as part of the Executive Team of the Trust, operating collaboratively to provide strategic leadership to the Trust and its communities. Have overall responsibility for all aspects of strategic people leadership within the Trust, including HR, Governance, Training and Development and communications, leading additional staff responsible for leading these areas To oversee the relationship between the Trust and its legal advisors, ensuring the Trust has access to the advice it needs as matters arise Strategic leadership of the development, implementation and delivery of the Trust’s People Strategy in order to support the broader strategic aims of the Trust and support the establishment of the Trust as an employer.
