The Governing Body of Elm Wood Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom teacher who has high expectations of behaviour, standards and the learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will also be able to:

  • Show energy, enthusiasm and creativity in approach and commitment to the learning ethos of the school.
  • Be fully committed to our Behaviour and Relationships policy.
  • Have a good understanding of how to meet a range of needs within the classroom.
  • Commit to CPD in line with the whole school development plans.
  • Display open positive attitude where teamwork is valued and have excellent interpersonal skills plus a determination to work for the best outcomes for each child.
  • Contribute to the extensive extra-curricular programme the school already offers.
