JOB PURPOSE To provide highquality administrative, financial and coordination support to regeneration programmes and projects, ensuring effective delivery, strong governance, and compliance with funding and reporting requirements. The role supports regeneration officers and project managers working on town centre renewal, community economic development, public realm, heritage, and economic development initiatives. BACKGROUND TO ROLE Rochdale Development Agency and Rochdale Council have been successful in securing funding from a number of regeneration programmes including Pride in Place, Economic Development and Regeneration Flexible Grants and Towns Fund. In addition new Mayoral Development Corporations have been announced to drive regeneration in Middleton and at Northern Gateway. These programmes require effective governance, monitoring and management to secure maximum benefit and meet the requirements of funders.
