Salary: Sixth Form Colleges Association Teachers Pay Spine, points 1-9

Rochdale Sixth Form College (RSFC) opened in 2010 to address the significant underachievement in A Level performance in the borough. Since then, it has raised achievement in the area dramatically and is recognised nationally as a centre of excellence. The college is rated Ofsted outstanding and, is consistently ranked as one of the highest performing colleges in the country according to the DfE's performance tables and national achievement rate tables.

About the Role:
You will teach BTEC Health & Social Care to students across Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that maximise student achievement. You will join a successful department with excellent outcomes, modern teaching facilities and a strong culture of collaboration and innovation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teach BTEC Health & Social Care to KS5 students
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive and high-quality lessons
  • Support students to achieve outstanding academic outcomes
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities and wider college life
  • Work collaboratively within a successful and supportive department
  • Promote a positive “you can do it” culture with high expectations and strong support
