Leigh Central Primary School Windermere Road Salary: Grade 6, £23,757 - £26,216 per annum. 34.75 hours per week, term time working 39 weeks per year Permanent Required for September 2026 Leigh Central Primary School is a welcoming and diverse one-form entry primary school in the middle of Leigh town centre. The children and their families are very important to us and are central to all we do. The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, dedicated and effective Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will work across Key Stage 1 and Reception covering PPA and Leadership time. On occasion you will also be required to cover a class in Reception or KS1 in the absence of a teacher. The successful applicant will work from Reception to Year 2 and will support teachers in planning, delivery and assessment of lessons. You will also be required to support teaching staff on yard duty.
