Observation/Task information: Should you be successfully shortlisted you will be required to teach a whole class lesson to the year 6 class either in your current school setting or at North Walkden Primary, focusing on English.

The Governors of North Walkden Primary are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, inspiring teacher to join our school.

The successful candidate will be passionate about children’s learning. They will be able to fire the imagination of children and develop their skills and knowledge. They will have consistently high standards and expectations in all areas of school life and will be committed to a teamwork approach.

We require a Teacher who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • Has evidence of having a measurable impact in their class teacher role.
  • Has a minimum of 2years experience teaching in KS2.
  • Values a teamwork approach.
  • Has high standards and expectations in all areas of school life.
  • Is committed to raising pupil achievement.
  • Has an excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Has QTS

The candidate must have excellent experience/understanding of Upper Key Stage 2. The candidate should also be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school.
