We currently have an exciting opportunity for a professional, dynamic and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate should be passionate about supporting young people in their learning. 

We are looking for a teaching assistant who can make learning fun, think on their feet and understands the importance of play. 

Experience of working with children with special needs in a school setting is desirable

Rodney House is an outstanding provision (Ofsted July 2023).

All children have complex and/or significant learning needs as described in the individual Education Health and Care Plans.


All posts are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.

Prospective candidates need to know that we apply our stringent policy on Safeguarding Children when appointing staff to Rodney House.

The successful candidate will be committed to supporting children with special educational needs to achieve their best through implementing specialist communication strategies, and will demonstrate a confident and positive approach.
