Grade: Grade 7 (SCP 25 29) Contract Type: Temporary Hours: Full Time Working Pattern: All Year Round Actual Salary: £36,363 - £39,862 Interview Date: Wednesday 10th June 2026 Extended Schools Coordinator Temporary until 31st August 2027 (Job Ref: REDE02) Our Vision: A specialist SEND community inspiring Rochdale and beyond Redwood Secondary School is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated Extended Schools Coordinator to lead and develop our extended school provision. This is an exciting opportunity to build on and support shape a vibrant, inclusive programme that supports children and young people with complex additional needs and positions the school as a hub for across Rochdale. The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver a wide range of extended school and extra-curricular activities, including breakfast club, after-school provision, holiday clubs, and youth activities, working in close partnership with Extended Schools Manager, the Local Authority, other schools, families and external agencies. The role is temporary in the first instance; however, there may be an opportunity for the post to become permanent. Working Pattern: Monday: 8am-4:30pm Tuesday: 8am-4:30pm Wednesday: 7:30am-4:30pm Thursday: 8am-4:30pm Friday: None working day Saturday: 8am-12:30pm Sunday: None working day Annual Leave Entitlement: 26 days’ leave plus up to 5 additional days after 5 years’ RMBC service. Key Responsibilities The role includes working flexibly, with some evening, holiday and weekend work required.
