We welcome you to The Cathedral School of St Peter & St John R.C. Primary. Anyone who knows our school will say we are a caring, friendly, happy and exciting school. This is because we have a fantastic team of people at Cathedral School who make sure children enjoy learning and where we expect ALL children to do well.

Children at Cathedral School work in an atmosphere of calm and excitement! Children are at the heart of everything we do.

We work with many different people to make our school successful. We are fortunate in having wonderful supportive Governors who are dedicated to our school. We invite a variety of people into our school; artists, musicians, authors, sport specialists, consultants with varying specialisms and many more. If you go into the archive of our Weekly Newsletter you will see many past events and parents are regularly updated by our very popular newsletter.

As a Catholic school we belong to the Diocese of Salford and Salford Local Authority. The teachings of our faith are paramount and children are given opportunities to learn and develop their knowledge and understanding of our faith.

The dedicated and hard working team are deeply committed to ensuring children receive a high quality education. Excellent teaching ensures high academic standards as well as concentrating on the education of the whole child.
