Job Title: Specialist Teaching Assistant for pupil with SEND

Grade: Level 2 (or equivalent)

Contract Type: Temporary

Working Pattern: 25 hours per week (Term time only)

Start Date: 1st September 2026 or sooner


The Governors of St Boniface’s are seeking to appoint an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant, to join our happy and nurturing school

The role will include classroom duties supporting a pupil 1:1 in addition to lunchtime supervision and supporting at breakfast club.

About the Role

About you

  • Practising Catholic or are fully committed to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Have experience of working with children in the primary school phase
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of children with SEND.
  • Receptive to training and implementing evidence based strategies to support children.
  • Able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic, inspirational and pro-active in their approach
  • Able to work as part of a supportive, nurturing team.
