We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of RE and Humanities to join our fantastic team at MEA Central

This is a permanent, full-time role starting in September 2026. The salary for this post is MPS/UPS on the Teachers Pay Scale.

MEA Central is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Religious Education and Humanities to join our dedicated and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real difference to the lives of young people in a vibrant, inclusive school community.

The successful candidate will teach Religious Education and Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.

You will:

  • Have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.

As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
