Key Stage 1 Teacher (M1 - UPS3)

Fixed Term from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027

The Governing Board of Bare Trees Primary School is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team on a part time basis. This is a fixed term position within our vibrant and inclusive school community for the duration of the academic year 2026/27.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (and ideally a broader understanding of the primary phase);
• Is highly-motivated and will develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive;
• Will be an effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all;
• Is a highly effective teacher of Phonics; having experience of the Read Write Inc Programme.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development;
• Has a commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged;
• Has up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs;
• Brings experience of supporting EAL learners and ensuring every child can access the curriculum successfully;
• Is committed to their own professional development;
• Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Bare Trees Primary School.

• A suitable task to be confirmed prior to the interview;
• An interview with the Senior Leadership Team.

Contract: Fixed Term

Hours: Part Time, 2.5 days per week; Monday to Wednesday.
