Key Stage 2 Teacher (M1 - UPS3)

Fixed Term from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027

The Governing Board of Bare Trees Primary School is delighted to offer the opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team within our vibrant and inclusive school community. We welcome ECTs to apply for these roles. This is a fixed term position for the duration of the academic year 2026/27.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 (and ideally a broader understanding of the primary phase);
• Is highly-motivated and will develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive;
• Will be an effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all;
• Is a highly effective teacher of Phonics; having experience of the Read Write Inc Programme.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development;
• Has a commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged;
• Has up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs;
• Brings experience of supporting EAL learners and ensuring every child can access the curriculum successfully;
• Is committed to their own professional development;
• Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Bare Trees Primary School.

• A lesson observation. Time and date to be confirmed;
• A suitable task to be confirmed prior to the interview;
• An interview with the Senior Leadership Team.
