Contract Type: Permanent x2 Hours: 30 per week Salary: NJC Grade F SCP 19-24 £32,061 - £35,412 pro-rata per annum, plus allowances for evening/weekend working Closing Date: Friday 29th May 2026 at 12 noon The Arc is a unique service and there is an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Senior Support Worker. The ARC is an evolving service that is supporting a variety of people some who have reablement needs, are Covid positive, need a place of safety, a place to recover after a hospital admission etc. The ARC's CQC Registered Manager is dedicated in supporting the staff team to build a service that is person centred, responsive and an asset to Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The ARC works alongside health and social work colleagues to provide an holistic experience for the people who stay, usually for periods ranging from a few days to six weeks, occasionally longer. The role of the Senior Support Worker is to lead and manage a team of RSWs, being a mentor, role model and shift leader. Supporting the whole team with admissions, discharges, medication, audits and staff development to name a few of the many tasks involved in the role. You will receive a warm welcome at the ARC and work alongside a dedicated staff team who want what is best for the people who access the service.
